The Marks Project will identify, with the help of local stake holders in Marks and Quitman County, situations across a broad spectrum that require immediate attention. Marks Project Advisory Board members will assess each opportunity and seek to assist on a short term basis with a solution(s) which may include immediate funding, positioning with one of our partners, or additional outside resources with which we are affiliated. Funding will not be for salaries or benefits. Initiatives under the direction of the Marks Project are required to provide full accountability and seek long term sustainability. The Marks Project will seek to expand awareness, recruit additional partners and obtain funding to maintain and expand services to our community.
